President Lee to Present "Four Major Goals" at First Anniversary Press Conference Tomorrow
President Lee Jae-myung will hold a press conference on June 8 to mark the first anniversary of his inauguration and announce the "Four Major Goals" that outline his second-year vision for national governance.
According to the Blue House on June 7, President Lee will host the press conference at the Blue House VIP Hall under the theme "Irreplaceable Korea." The Blue House explained, "It encapsulates the vision and determination to transform Korea from a nation the world pays attention to, into a nation the world truly needs." President Lee is also expected to share his reflections on the past year.

The press conference will be attended by approximately 160 domestic and foreign journalists and will last about 100 minutes. Journalists will be able to ask questions freely without a predetermined script, based on selections by the moderator and the president, and President Lee will respond. Additionally, two university students—recipients of the SisaIN University Journalism Award and the Korea Press Foundation’s University Press Award—will participate to ask questions about the concerns and challenges facing the younger generation.
