Gwanak-gu Officially Designates Daishin Asset Trust as Project Implementer for Sillim 5 District Redevelopment
Project Implementer Confirmed Just Three Months After Redevelopment Zone Designation
Large-Scale Complex with 3,973 Units Planned
Gwanak-gu, Seoul (Mayor Park Junhee) announced on the 7th that it had officially designated Daishin Asset Trust Co., Ltd. as the project implementer for the Sillim 5 District housing redevelopment project in the Seowon-dong area on June 4.
The district office stated that after reviewing the application and related documents for the project implementer designation, the trust company met all the statutory requirements and consent conditions as stipulated by the Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act. The final consent rate was 75.85% based on the number of landowners and 64.07% based on land area.
Sillim 5 District was selected as a candidate site for the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Rapid Integrated Planning Housing Redevelopment Project in 2022 and has now completed the designation of the project implementer just about three months after being designated as a redevelopment zone in February this year.
The project site covers approximately 169,000 square meters of hilly residential land around 412 Seowon-dong. The plan is to demolish old houses and transform the area into a large-scale complex with 25 buildings ranging from three basement levels to 34 above-ground floors, totaling 3,973 units, including 624 rental units.
Sillim 5 District is located near Seowon Station on the Sillim Line and is adjacent to natural environments such as Byeolbitnaerincheon Stream and Samseongsan Mountain. The redevelopment will utilize the area's 60-meter elevation difference to feature terrace houses and street-front commercial spaces, creating an eco-friendly residential complex.
