T1 is a global eSports organization, and T1 Base Camp PC Café is a community space run by T1, combining a PC café with a shop selling T1 merchandise. This visit is interpreted as a symbolic gesture recognizing the contribution of Korea’s PC cafés and gaming culture to NVIDIA’s early growth. During his visit to Korea last year, CEO Huang also chanted "Faker" on stage and noted, "Without PC games, PC cafés, and eSports, there would be no NVIDIA as we know it today."
At the event, CEO Huang met with Faker and the five main T1 team players, saying, "Korea is the birthplace of eSports," and added, "Korean gamers choosing the best GPUs to win became the driving force behind NVIDIA’s growth." During the conversation, CEO Huang asked Faker, "Which graphics card do you use?" When Faker replied, "I use the GeForce RTX 4090," CEO Huang joked, "That’s an antique." After their conversation, CEO Huang presented Faker with a GeForce RTX 5090 bearing his own autograph. In return, Faker gave CEO Huang a jersey signed by himself.
Subsequently, CEO Huang and Faker autographed the next-generation flagship graphics card, the GeForce RTX 5090, and held a giveaway event in which they drew numbers distributed to visitors on-site and presented the card as a prize. CEO Huang commented about the card, "It’s a one-of-a-kind, special edition in the world and might be worth about 1 million dollars (approximately 1.537 billion won)." The regular transaction price of the product is reportedly around 7 million won.
Additionally, two visitors at the event received exchange vouchers for the next-generation gaming laptop, "RTX Spark," as a further gift. CEO Huang said, "When RTX Spark is released this fall, you can exchange this. This is a 'Jensen IOU.'"
