Seniors Become Job Mentors... "University Alliance Job Talk Concert" Connects Busan Youth with Industry Professionals
Joint Event by Six Busan Universities and the Employment and Labor Office
A venue was arranged where local young job seekers could meet directly with corporate HR managers and current employees to hear about job roles.
The Busan Regional Employment and Labor Office and the job centers of six universities in the Busan area announced on June 5 that they held the "2026 University Alliance Current Employees Job Talk Concert" at the KT&G Sangsangmadang Busan Live Hall on June 2.
This event was organized to provide youth with practical, work-centered job information and strategies for preparing for employment. Over 200 local young people, including students from Tongmyong University, Kyungsung University, Dongseo University, Dong-A University, Dong-Eui University, and Silla University, participated.
The event began with an explanatory session on youth employment policies by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, followed by company recruitment briefings, a Q&A session, and special lectures by current employees about their job responsibilities. The recruitment briefings featured organizations such as the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation, Changshin INC, and CJ CheilJedang. In addition, current employees from diverse fields—including Korea Railroad Corporation, Kyungdong Construction, Korens, 3M, Modetour, and DN Automotive—shared their job experiences and employment preparation processes.
Participants had the opportunity to ask direct questions about actual work duties by job category, hiring processes, and methods for preparing for employment, gaining firsthand insights from professionals in the field.
