North Korea: Chinese President Xi Jinping to Visit June 8-9 at Kim Jong Un's Invitation
North Korea announced on June 5 that Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit North Korea from the 8th to the 9th at the invitation of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The Korean Central News Agency reported the news of President Xi's visit to North Korea on the same day. China's state-run Xinhua News Agency also released the same information, citing a statement from the spokesperson of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

This marks President Xi's first visit to North Korea in approximately seven years since June 2019. Recently, there have been indications that President Xi's visit was imminent, including changes and expansion in aircraft models operated by Chinese airlines between Beijing and Pyongyang, as well as the installation of new structures in Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang.
