CEE, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization, supports high school students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement by providing education in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as well as opportunities to network with prominent business leaders.
Under this sponsorship agreement, Korean Air will serve as a sponsor of CEE for four years starting this month. The company plans to award scholarships in the name of Korean Air to multinational high school students selected for the Research Science Institute (RSI) program organized by CEE.
In addition, Korean Air will support the development of global science and engineering talent by offering lectures on aviation technology and research and development (R&D) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for separately selected high school students.
