Suwon City to Recruit 20 Supporters to Promote Tap Water Safety
Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting 20 "Tap Water Supporters" to inform citizens about the safety of tap water and the water supply business.
On June 5, Suwon City announced that it would be accepting applications for the Tap Water Supporters, a citizen participation program that promotes water supply policies and information related to tap water, from June 10 to June 24.
The selected supporters will be active from July to August. Their main activities will include producing online promotional content such as updates on the water supply system, sharing water quality information and tap water safety on social networking services (SNS), participating in and supporting tap water-related events, and attending biweekly meetings.
Suwon City will provide capacity-building training for the supporters and operate a tour program at the Gwanggyo Water Purification Plant. Upon completion of the activities, supporters will receive a certificate of completion, as well as support for volunteer hours and activity expenses.
Those wishing to participate can apply via Naver Form (https://naver.me/GIIIql29). Successful applicants will be notified individually on June 25.
