Additional street name signs were installed in alleys, back roads, and at intersection branches where it is difficult to identify locations, thereby improving convenience for finding directions.
This maintenance was a proactive measure to prevent safety accidents such as the detachment of facilities caused by strong winds and heavy rainfall during the summer. The district enhanced the visibility of address information so that it can be easily identified even during heavy rain or at night, and expanded the installation of street name signs at pedestrian eye level. Previously, in March, 4,334 aging building number plates in the Mullae-dong and Yeongdeungpo-dong areas were refurbished, improving visibility in residential neighborhoods.

District Chief Choi Hokwon stated, "Street name address facilities are not only essential for everyday convenience but are also a critical part of urban infrastructure directly related to public safety. We urge residents to actively report any damaged facilities to the district office."
