Wingip Food Pursues Supply Partnership with Southeast Asian Distributor: "Expects Overseas Sales of 5.6 Billion Won Annually"
Wingip Food is accelerating the expansion of its overseas business by leveraging a partnership with a Southeast Asian distribution company. The company aims to use its participation in a food exhibition in Thailand to secure new trading partners and foster the Southeast Asian market as a medium- to long-term growth base.
On June 4, Wingip Food announced that, as part of its participation in 'THAIFEX 2026,' the largest food and beverage exhibition in Asia held in Bangkok, Thailand, it signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) for product supply with ArtTogether International Limited, a Southeast Asian distribution company.
The two companies plan to pursue further cooperation for product supply and market expansion, with the anticipated supply volume reaching approximately 25 million yuan per year. In Korean won, this is equivalent to about 5.6 billion won. The specific supply schedule and detailed conditions will be finalized through future discussions.
During the exhibition, the company also held numerous business meetings with major food distributors and local channel partners in Southeast Asia. Through these discussions, including those with ArtTogether International Limited, the company reported that it achieved results in securing new trading partners and discussed plans for product supply and distribution cooperation with local companies.
Wingip Food considers this partnership highly significant in terms of expanding into the Southeast Asian market and establishing a foundation for the growth of its overseas sales.
A company representative stated, "We plan to continue strengthening our competitiveness in the global business market and expanding our distribution network in Southeast Asia, based on collaboration with local partners."
The company has already begun laying the groundwork to target the Southeast Asian market. In November last year, it established its Chinese subsidiary, Shenzhen Qianhai Miaoyu Technology Co., Ltd., and began formulating a medium- to long-term roadmap for entry into Southeast Asia.
Focusing on this subsidiary, the company has been working to secure local distribution channels in Southeast Asia and identify new clients. It described the participation in THAIFEX 2026 and the signing of the Letter of Intent as the first tangible outcomes of these efforts.
Wingip Food expects to generate actual sales in the Southeast Asian market within this year. Furthermore, based on securing new clients and expanding its customer base, the company forecasts that its overseas business division will enter a full-fledged growth phase starting in 2027.
In particular, the company’s strategy is to foster Southeast Asia as a core hub for its overseas business and secure medium- to long-term growth drivers. Going forward, it plans to expand its client base and diversify distribution channels not only in Southeast Asia but also across the global market, continuously increasing the share of its overseas business.
