Sky Intelligence and Seoul National University AI Research Institute Collaborate on Robot Perception and Grasping Technology Development
Joint Promotion of National R&D Projects
Accelerating the Commercialization of Physical AI
Sky Intelligence, a company specializing in digital twin and synthetic data solutions, announced on June 4 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the AI Research Institute at Seoul National University (AIIS) to establish a collaborative research and partnership framework aimed at advancing robot vision and grasping technologies.

Sky Intelligence has built an infrastructure based on NVIDIA Omniverse that converts real-world objects and environments into high-precision digital assets as digital twins and produces large volumes of industrial-grade synthetic data, which can be immediately utilized for physical AI training.
In addition, Sky Intelligence plans to continue collaborating with the AI Research Institute at Seoul National University on joint government R&D projects, personnel exchanges and research, and securing server resources for large-scale model training and inference. To this end, the company will provide its synthetic data production pipeline, which has been developed to secure and advance core physical AI technologies.
Jaecheol Lee, CEO of Sky Intelligence, stated, "By combining Sky Intelligence's digital twin and synthetic data technologies with the research capabilities of the AI Research Institute at Seoul National University, we aim to lead the commercialization of robotics AI technologies at a global level."
