Gyeonggi Governor-elect Choo Mi-ae Vows to Strive for Changes and Results Residents Desire
On June 4, Governor-elect Chu Mi-ae of Gyeonggi Province pledged to actively work toward the changes and achievements desired by Gyeonggi’s 14.2 million residents.
At her election office in Paldal-gu, Suwon on the morning of the 4th, Governor-elect Chu held a press conference and stated, “From now on, I, Chu Mi-ae, will take responsibility and lead Gyeonggi toward a great transition and a confident future. I promise to address, one by one, the transportation issues, housing issues, employment challenges, and balanced development concerns facing the province.”
She continued, “I will communicate closely and calmly resolve local issues by joining forces with Gyeonggi’s members of the National Assembly, the 31 newly elected city and county heads, as well as provincial and municipal councilors.”
Governor-elect Chu also did not forget to express her gratitude to the residents of Gyeonggi Province.
