Korea Manhwa Contents Agency Secures 1 Billion Won Through External Public Offerings
Focused Investment in Exhibition, Education, and Creator Support
The Korea Manhwa Contents Agency announced on June 4 that it has secured approximately 1 billion won in external funding through public offerings by central government ministries and external organizations.
The funds will be strategically allocated to three areas. In the cultural enjoyment sector, the “K-Museum Regional Touring Exhibition Support Project” (125 million won) will provide citizens with free access to curated exhibitions. In the education sector, the “Dream Studio New Base Institution Public Offering Project” (100 million won) and the “Dreamdarac Culture and Arts School” (40 million won) will establish a foundation for free comics and webtoon education.
In the creator support sector, which has attracted the “Kakao Creative Foundation Creative Space Support” (160 million won) for three consecutive years, the agency will collaborate with the Bucheon Workers’ Health Center to support the health of creators.
