Hanpass Surpasses 480,000 MAU Last Month... Remittances Also on the Rise
The number of users on Hanpass, a foreigner-focused lifestyle financial platform listed on KOSDAQ, is increasing, leading to a rise in remittance transactions as well.
Hanpass announced on June 4 that, as of the end of last month, its monthly active users (MAU) reached 482,000, marking a 26.5% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of monthly active payment users (MAPU) also grew by 15.8% over the same period, reaching 205,000.
Monthly remittance usage is also rising sharply. The total number of monthly remittances increased from 467,000 in March to 475,000 in April, and further to 521,000 last month, showing a steady upward trend. This indicates that the increase in users is directly translating into a greater volume of transactions.
