As of 10 p.m. in the June 3 By-elections, Lee Jinsook 'Likely' in Daegu, Park Ji-won 'Certain' in North Jeolla
As vote counting for the 6·3 nationwide local elections and by-elections for National Assembly members is underway, Lee Jinsook, the People Power Party candidate, is emerging as the leading contender in the Dalseong region of Daegu. In the Gunsan-Gimje-Buan district of North Jeolla Province, Park Ji-won, the Democratic Party candidate, is virtually certain to win.
As of 10:30 p.m. on June 3rd, the nationwide vote counting rate stands at 19.72%. Among these, candidate Lee is highly likely to win with 64.30%. The Democratic Party candidate Park Hyung-ryong has 35.69% of the votes.

In Ansan-gap, Gyeonggi Province, Democratic Party candidate Kim Namguk has 54.24%, and People Power Party candidate Kim Seokhun has received 40.61% of the votes.
In Hanam-gap, Gyeonggi Province, Democratic Party candidate Lee Kwangjae is receiving 57.83%, while People Power Party candidate Lee Yong has 39.96% of the votes.
In Gongju-Buyeo-Cheongyang, South Chungcheong Province, Democratic Party candidate Kim Youngbin has 55.79%, and People Power Party candidate Yoon Yonggeun has 38.61%.
