Local Election Turnout at 15.0% as of 11 a.m., Up 3.0%p from Four Years Ago
The National Election Commission announced that as of 11:00 a.m. on June 3, the voter turnout for the 9th nationwide local elections stood at 15%. This figure is 3 percentage points higher than the turnout at the same time during the 8th local elections in 2022, which was 12.0%.

So far, Daegu recorded the highest voter turnout at 18.9%, followed by Gangwon at 17.7%, North Gyeongsang at 17.6%, and South Gyeongsang at 17.0%.
The region with the lowest turnout was Gwangju, at 10.3%.
The turnout in Seoul was recorded at 14.3%, while Busan stood at 15.5%.
