TaylorMade announced on June 2 that it will officially launch and begin selling its completely redesigned 5-piece tour golf balls, TP5 and TP5x, in the in-flight duty-free shops of South Korea's flagship airline.
Regular golfers will now be able to purchase the same golf balls chosen by McIlroy—who won the Masters Tournament twice in a row (TP5)—and world number one women's golfer Korda (TP5x), during their flight. A TaylorMade representative emphasized, "We are offering golfers who enjoy global business and travel a unique shopping experience in-flight. They will now have easy access to the premium golf balls whose performance has been proven on professional tours worldwide."
