On June 2nd (local time), Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, once again sent a strong message of support to SK hynix, visiting the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan, where COMPUTEX 2026, Asia's largest information technology (IT) exhibition, was in full swing.

In particular, on the HBM4E wafer, which was unveiled for the first time by SK hynix, he left a witty handwritten phrase, "Please Make More," along with his autograph, demonstrating his eagerness for the next-generation HBM supply. On the 192GB SoCam product, he wrote, "LOVE SOCAMM," expressing his affection for the product.
Earlier in the morning, at a media briefing, CEO Huang pointed out that, although all supply chain resources on Earth are being mobilized to mass-produce the AI supercomputer platform 'Vera Rubin', a global memory bottleneck persists. The Vera Rubin will be equipped with HBM4, the 6th generation high-bandwidth memory, supplied by Samsung Electronics, SK hynix, and Micron.
The recent series of CEO Huang's visits to the SK hynix booth and autograph events are seen not just as simple marketing stunts, but as a highly strategic message demonstrating the exclusive solidarity within the global AI semiconductor supply chain.

Upon entering the booth, CEO Huang once again congratulated SK hynix on its historic achievement of joining the "1 trillion dollar market capitalization" club for the first time. After warmly embracing President Kwak, he shook hands with Chairman Chey and posed for commemorative photos, visually affirming the strong "Kkanbu loyalty" between the two companies.
CEO Huang left his signature not only on chips that are ready for immediate use but also on next-generation memory modules that have yet to be commercialized. This is interpreted as an expression of his intent to maintain a close partnership with SK hynix for the next 5 to 10 years, staying ahead of latecomers in future architecture as well.
SK hynix responded to CEO Huang's overture by placing the "AI Factory Zone," symbolizing its robust partnership with Nvidia, at the forefront of its booth. The booth showcased Nvidia's latest supercomputer, "DGX Spark," alongside SK hynix's ultra-high-speed, low-power mobile DRAM, "LPDDR5X," highlighting their combined performance value. In addition, a model of Nvidia's upcoming next-generation superchip, "Vera Rubin 200," was displayed alongside SK hynix's "SOCAMM2" and "HBM4," underscoring their collaboration in AI infrastructure.

ESSENCORE, a global semiconductor module and distribution specialist subsidiary of SK Group, provides memory and storage products to consumers worldwide. It is well known among consumers through its gaming memory brand "KLEVV."
Prior to his meeting with CEO Huang, Chairman Chey had already visited the SK hynix booth. After carefully viewing the products on display, he met with reporters, showcasing the strong "triangular AI alliance" with Nvidia and TSMC, and announced an ambitious investment vision to double overall wafer production capacity within the next five years.
Chairman Chey stated, "The memory bottleneck is expected to continue until 2030," and added, "Building a new memory fab requires massive investment and at least three years, but we plan to double our wafer production capacity over the next five years." SK hynix is currently aggressively expanding its manufacturing bases, including the Cheongju M15X·P&T7, the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, and the advanced packaging plant in the United States.

View original imageWhen asked to compare the "triangular alliance" among Nvidia, TSMC, and SK hynix with Samsung Electronics' "all-in-one" strategy, Chairman Chey said, "If customers want it, we deliver it," adding, "We have built the best partnership with TSMC and hope to supply products on time and within budget."
Regarding the next-generation product roadmap, including HBM4E, he stated, "We need to be ready when our customers are ready, and we will be ready. The roadmap depends entirely on our customers. Currently, there is only one customer for HBM4E."
He also reaffirmed the cooperative relationship with Nvidia. On his series of recent meetings with CEO Huang, Chairman Chey said, "We share a friendship based on mutual trust and dependence. While I cannot share specific details of our conversations, our partnership remains strong, and we will move forward together for a very long time." Regarding the "Vera Rubin" supply chain, he added, "We hope to remain a key supplier. Although it depends on our customers' decisions, we hope to continue this role in the future."
