SAMG Entertainment to Hold 'Wishcat Brand Day' with LG Twins... Experiential Fan Collaboration at Jamsil
Global IP content company SAMG Entertainment is teaming up with the 2025 KBO Korean Series champions, the LG Twins, to launch the "Wishcat Brand Day."
SAMG Entertainment (CEO Kim Suhoon) announced that it will host the "Wishcat Brand Day" during the LG Twins' three consecutive home games at Seoul Jamsil Baseball Stadium from June 9 to 11. Throughout the event, various interactive contents and events utilizing the "Wishcat" IP will be available around the stadium.
On June 11, the main character "Ainyang" will take the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher, meeting fans in person. The company plans to strengthen on-site character-based experiential content, especially targeting families and the 2030 generation.
This collaboration is themed around "magical moments when wishes come true." Reflecting the universe of SAMG Entertainment's "Wishcat Magic Card," the key visuals have been created featuring major characters such as Ainyang, Nyamnyamnyang, Kkubeoknyang, Kungfunyang, and Jetnyang transformed as LG Twins players.
At the event, special tickets, photo zones, and a pop-up store featuring Wishcat characters will be available. In the outfield catch ball area’s pop-up store, a wide variety of collaborative merchandise such as uniforms, caps, towels, t-shirts, bags, pouches, and keyrings will be on sale. In addition, Wishcat Edition random player photo cards will be released inside the stadium.
SAMG Entertainment stated that this collaboration marks the beginning of its push to expand offline fandom business by merging content IP with sports. The strategy is to organically connect merchandise, experiential content, and on-site events to strengthen a fan-centered brand experience.
"Wishcat Magic Card" is a 3D TV animation series that tells the story of a special cat, "Ainyang," who has fallen into the human world of Nyantavavara, and a girl named Anna. The series is expanding the original "Wishcat" universe, adding magical girl themes and action elements, which has attracted fans' attention.
A SAMG Entertainment representative said, "Through our collaborations with 'Catch! Teenieping' and various sports teams, we've confirmed the high scalability and strong fandom reactions of experiential content that combines content IP and sports. Through this collaboration with the LG Twins, we plan to further strengthen our fandom-based licensing business and continuously expand our offline-centered IP business model."
