Paratech Executives Make Consecutive Share Purchases, Signaling Commitment to Responsible Management and Enhancing Corporate Value
Key executives at Paratech, a KOSDAQ-listed company specializing in firefighting equipment, have made consecutive purchases of company shares, signaling their commitment to responsible management and enhancing corporate value. This move aligns with the recent announcement by the largest shareholder regarding a large-scale share acquisition plan and is seen as an effort to build market trust.
On June 2, Paratech announced that CEO Park Seon-gi and CFO Kim Seon-bok (Executive Director) had acquired company shares through on-market purchases. The company stated that these purchases were made in line with Hurim Robot's recent plan, as the largest shareholder, to acquire shares worth 5 billion won.
The company particularly emphasized the significance of key executives, who are leading on-site management, personally participating in share purchases, actively demonstrating their commitment to responsible management to the market.
According to the disclosure, CEO Park Seon-gi made three separate on-market purchases, acquiring a total of 94,194 shares with his own funds from May 14 to June 1. CFO Kim Seon-bok also acquired a total of 56,072 shares on the market over two days, May 29 and June 1.
A company official stated, "This share acquisition reflects a strong intention to have the company's value re-evaluated through synergies with the largest shareholder's share purchase plan," adding, "We believe the current stock price is undervalued compared to the company's intrinsic value, and CEO Park Seon-gi and the management plan to consider additional on-market purchases, taking future market conditions into account."
With this new acquisition by the management, the combined stake of the largest shareholder, Hurim Infra Investment Association, and its special affiliates has increased from 6.81% to 6.99%. The company expects that if the largest shareholder's investment plan and further executive purchases proceed as planned, management stability will be further strengthened.
Paratech plans to accelerate the expansion of future growth businesses based on its stable governance structure. The company is currently focusing on the advancement of autonomous smart firefighting robots, which are being jointly developed with Hurim Robot, as well as expanding into high-value-added businesses such as industrial firefighting robot AI integration, entry into the smart factory safety solution market, and winning new orders for overseas firefighting equipment.
