Attending the signing ceremony were Seungyoung Lee, Head of Technology Innovation at LIG D&A, Jinhoon Kim, Head of D2C Lab, Jeonyong Joo, CEO of Dtonic, Vice President Jinman Kwon, and other senior officials from both companies.
This agreement was initiated to combine LIG D&A’s defense technology capabilities with Dtonic’s AI operating system (AI OS) technology, aiming to advance the technologies for combat management and command-and-control systems on the future battlefield.
L-NODE (LIG-Neural Ontology Decision Engine) is a defense-specialized platform that integrates ontology-based knowledge systems and agentic AI. It is being developed with the goal of enhancing the operation of manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T) and integrated operational capabilities through collaboration among defense AI systems in a battlefield environment that merges physical and cyber domains.
The development of L-NODE is being led by the newly established Technology Innovation Division at LIG D&A, which was created to secure future technologies in advance.
Dtonic’s AI platform 'D.Hub' will serve as the core engine for L-NODE. D.Hub handles the entire process from data collection to classification, processing, and analysis, and features a cloud-native structure that ensures stable operation even in secure environments.
Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to incorporate key technologies into L-NODE, including ontology-based tactical intelligence, hybrid RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), the real-time battlefield spatiotemporal data analysis engine 'Geo-Hiker,' and multi-agent systems (MAS).
