The ceremony, held on May 28 at the Peace & Park Convention Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was organized to reward outstanding companies and contributors who have promoted a culture of work-life balance during the Gender Employment Equality Emphasis Period.
Aumobio Korea was recognized for its efforts to help employees balance work and family life, including operating maternity protection systems, expanding flexible work arrangements, and fostering a family-friendly work culture. In particular, the company was highly praised for establishing a work environment where employees, regardless of gender, can participate in all aspects of childbirth, childcare, and caregiving, as well as for operating flexible work systems such as staggered working hours and a hybrid work model, thereby building an inclusive organizational culture.
The company also continuously operates programs to support the growth and leadership of its female employees. Aumobio Korea is strengthening its foundation for female leadership through initiatives such as the "Female Talent" group, which nurtures outstanding female talent as part of the HR system, and the "Mini-MBA" program, which develops the next generation of leaders. In addition, the company holds the in-house women’s network program "KWE Conference" and the "Online Global Company Tour," an event to support female science and engineering students in exploring career paths in the future mobility sector, every year.
This trend is also reflected in recruitment results. Last year, the proportion of female new hires nearly doubled compared to the previous year, and the proportion of female candidates selected for the “Aumobio Star” internship program, which is linked to employment, also increased compared to the first cohort. Under its company-wide goal to raise the proportion of female executives to 25% by 2030, Aumobio Korea plans to continue its talent development and organizational culture improvement initiatives.
Kang Dong-yoon, President and CEO of Aumobio Korea, said, “This award is the result of our collective efforts to create an environment where all employees can respect each other and be fully engaged in a healthy way,” adding, “We will do our utmost to create a workplace where talented people can come together and grow happily for a long time.”
