LG Electronics Partners with Netflix... "LG NetpulPack" Offers Appliance and OTT Subscription in One
Subscribe to Both LG TV and OTT in One Package
Available at Best Shop Stores Nationwide
Sign Up at a Special Launch Price for One Month
LG Electronics is partnering with Netflix to introduce a new bundled subscription product.
Jointly launched on June 1, the “LG Net플Pack” combines LG Electronics’ TV subscription with a Netflix OTT (over-the-top) service subscription, offering both entertainment content and hardware in an all-in-one package at a more competitive price than signing up for each service separately.
The LG Net플Pack is available for all subscription-eligible LG TV models, including OLED (organic light-emitting diode) TVs that allow users to fully enjoy Netflix’s 4K UHD high-definition content. The monthly subscription fee varies depending on the customer’s selected TV model, subscription period (from 3 to 6 years), and OTT service plan (Standard or Premium), as specified in the contract details.
As of June 1, customers can sign up at 459 LG Electronics Best Shop stores nationwide (including department store locations), with plans to expand sales channels to LG Electronics’ official online store and offline home appliance retailers in the future.
Throughout June, customers can also sign up at a special launch promotion price, which is even lower than the price of a standalone LG TV subscription. The promotion covers four models: two large-screen premium OLED TVs (83-inch OLED83C6SNA and 77-inch OLED77C6SNA) and two MRGB TVs (86-inch 86MRGB86BKA and 75-inch 75MRGB96BKA). The additional discounted monthly subscription fee applies for six months from the time of LG Net플Pack enrollment.
If an existing Netflix subscriber enrolls in the LG Net플Pack, the monthly fee for LG Electronics’ home appliance subscription will be integrated and billed from the following month. For more information about subscribing to the LG Net플Pack, customers can inquire at Best Shop stores nationwide.
Seungjin Oh, Executive Director of Korea MS Marketing at LG Electronics, said, “We are delighted to introduce a bundled product that allows customers to easily create a premium home theater experience together with a leading global entertainment platform. By presenting a new form of convergence between devices and content never seen before, we expect this to open up new possibilities in the subscription market.”
