Hengsheng Group Targets Chinese Cultural Tourism Market... Delivers Related Products to the Palace Museum and More
KOSDAQ-listed Hengsheng Group is expanding its business scope within the Chinese cultural tourism consumer market.
On June 1, Hengsheng Group announced that it had completed the delivery of cultural tourism-related products worth approximately 10 million yuan (2.2 billion won) to major Chinese platforms and intellectual property (IP) holders, including Meituan, Xiaohongshu, and the Palace Museum.
The Chinese cultural tourism sector is on a growth trajectory, driven by policies to boost domestic consumption and revitalize regional economies. According to data from the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the number of travelers in China last year reached 6.522 billion, up 16.2% from the previous year, while tourism spending grew by 9.5% year-on-year to approximately 6.3 trillion yuan (1,970 trillion won).
Hengsheng Group plans to gradually broaden its business footprint in the consumer market, focusing on AI-powered interactive toys, IP-based cultural and creative products, customized offerings for tourist destinations, and experiential consumer content, leveraging its existing capabilities in toy and IP supply chains.
