Hanul Semiconductor Executives Acquire Company Shares... Expanding Responsible Management
Executives at Hanul Semiconductor have taken steps to strengthen responsible management by purchasing shares of their own company.
On June 1, Hanul Semiconductor announced that Vice Chairman Kim Kiwon and CEO Kim Baeksan acquired 4,500 and 4,040 shares of the company, respectively, through on-market purchases. As a result, the combined stake held by Vice Chairman Kim and related parties has increased to 36.62%.
Vice Chairman Kim began his career in 1989 with the planning team of the semiconductor division at Samsung Electronics and served as an executive at Samsung Group’s Restructuring Headquarters and Future Strategy Office. After serving as Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics, he retired and was appointed Vice Chairman of Hanul Semiconductor in March of this year.
Hanul Semiconductor plans to leverage the recent boom in the multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) business to expand orders and pursue new business opportunities, thereby further increasing both shareholder and corporate value and building greater trust with stakeholders.
