Jang Donghyuk Urges Voters: "Show Your Anger and Determination Toward the Lee Administration"
"We Will Encourage the 2030 Generation to Vote
Focus Will Be on Increasing Voter Turnout"
Jang Donghyuk, Standing Election Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, encouraged voting on May 31, the last weekend before the June 3 nationwide local elections, stating, "Giving up your vote gives Lee Jaemyung, who abuses presidential power, the opportunity to erase all of his crimes."
At a press conference held at the party headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul on this day, Chairman Jang said, "Show your anger and determination to stop the arrogance and runaway behavior of the Lee Jaemyung administration, and your will to protect your assets and freedom, through decisive action."

Chairman Jang continued, "While there may be people who are happy because stock prices have risen, are the only citizens our politics should care about those in the KOSPI or luxury department stores? Many citizens are living through the hell of the 'three highs'—high exchange rates, high inflation, and high interest rates."
Addressing President Lee, he stated, "Having seized control of the legislature, government, judiciary, and the media, this is extreme arrogance—'What are you going to do about me?' Until three days before the early voting, he brazenly campaigned for the ruling party in the markets. No president in history has ever acted so recklessly."
Chairman Jang argued, "If the arrogant Lee Jaemyung and the Democratic Party win the local elections and also take control of the local governments, they will push for the cancellation of Lee Jaemyung's trial and start stripping away citizens' freedoms one by one, turning South Korea into a massive rationing system."
Regarding the record-high early voting rate over the past two days, Chairman Jang said, "We need to analyze the data in detail by region and age group, so it's still too early to determine which party this higher turnout favors or disadvantages."
