Car Donated to Subscriber Raising a Young Daughter with Kidney Disease
Diapers and Wet Wipes Worth 870,000 Won Also Gifted at the Subscriber's Requested Price
Former Chungju City official, known as "Chungju Man," YouTuber Kim Seontae, has effectively donated his own car for free to a young father in his twenties raising a sick child.
On May 29, Kim Seontae released the process of selling the car he had driven for 10 years through his YouTube channel. According to an inspection by a used car trading platform, the car's purchase price was estimated at 5.5 million KRW. However, Kim Seontae did not sell the car at this price; instead, he personally met a subscriber selected through their story and handed over the car.

Initially, he intended to purchase the car for 870,000 KRW, but after hearing his story, Kim Seontae surprised everyone by setting the price at just "2,500 KRW" on the spot.
In addition, Kim Seontae prepared diapers and wet wipes worth 870,000 KRW in advance, matching the amount the subscriber had hoped to pay, and delivered them together with the car at the scene. After receiving the car, the subscriber's family later commented, "We were touched that you delivered the car in person, filled up the tank, and gave us diapers and wet wipes as gifts," adding, "It's been about two weeks since we got the car, and we're using it very well," expressing their gratitude.
Meanwhile, on May 22, Kim Seontae also revealed through his YouTube channel that he had donated 100 million KRW to Chungju Medical Center.
He stated, "It may be a small amount to some, but it is truly a large sum for me," and added, "When I actually thought about my own money going out, I realized that making a donation is not easy." He continued, "In the past, when I saw people making large donations, I thought it was simply because they had a lot of money, but after doing it myself, I realized it is a noble sacrifice."
