As of 9 a.m. on the second day of early voting for the 9th nationwide local elections, the voter turnout stood at 13.35%.

View original imageAccording to the National Election Commission on May 30, a total of 5,959,952 out of 44,649,908 eligible voters had cast their ballots in early voting from 6 a.m. the previous day until the present time, resulting in a turnout of 13.35%. This figure is 1.54 percentage points higher than the early voting turnout of 11.81% recorded during the same period in the 8th local elections.
By region, Jeonnam recorded the highest turnout at 25.32%, followed by Jeonbuk (22.08%), Gangwon (16.38%), Gwangju (16.20%), and Sejong (14.39%). The lowest turnout was in Daegu at 10.37%. Seoul recorded a turnout of 12.89%.
