Kim Giduk, a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, along with other Democratic Party of Korea politicians from the Mapo (Eul) district, completed early voting on the first day of advance voting.
On the 29th, Jeong Cheong-rae, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, completed early voting at the Seongsan 2-dong Community Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul, together with Democratic Party candidates running in the local elections, and answered questions. View original imageOn the morning of the 29th, the first day of early voting for the local elections, Councilor Kim cast his ballot at the early voting station set up at the Seongsan 2-dong Community Center in Mapo-gu, together with Jeong Cheongrae, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, Yoo Donggyun, candidate for Mapo District Mayor, Chae Woojin, candidate for Seoul City Council, and Choi Eunha, candidate for Mapo District Council.
After casting their votes, they called on the public and voters to actively participate in early voting.
Leader Jeong emphasized, "There is no election in Seoul or Busan that is unimportant. I really want to win in Seoul. If you vote, we win," and added, "Today is the day to realize the spirit of the Constitution and the principle of popular sovereignty through early voting."
Councilor Kim also urged, "Please actively take part in early voting for the development of Seoul and a better life for its citizens," adding, "By participating in the early voting being held today and tomorrow, you can directly decide the future of Seoul and Mapo."
