"Monthly Orders Surpass Annual Sales"... DeepX to Announce Mass Production Partnerships at COMPUTEX 2026
Physical AI Achievements Materialize Just 8 Months After Chip Mass Production
48 Purchase Orders from 8 Countries; April Orders Surpass Last Year's Revenue
DeepX, a domestic artificial intelligence (AI) semiconductor fabless company, is rapidly expanding its commercial sales in the global market by leveraging actual purchase orders (POs) as a key driver, thereby demonstrating unparalleled growth. In particular, DeepX is drawing significant industry attention as it is leading the era of 'Physical AI,' which operates in real-world industrial environments, moving beyond the data center-centric age of generative AI.
On May 29, DeepX announced that the volume of new orders secured last month had already reached its entire sales figure from the previous year (3.3 billion won). The order volume in the first quarter of this year exceeded 10 billion won.
Currently, DeepX is successfully mass-producing the low-power, high-performance AI semiconductor 'DX-M1,' which is based on Samsung Electronics' 5-nanometer (nm; 1 nm = 1 billionth of a meter) process technology and delivers up to 25 TOPS (25 trillion operations per second) within an ultra-low power range of 1 to 5W. Next year, for the first time in the industry, DeepX plans to mass-produce the next-generation chip 'DX-M2' using Samsung Foundry’s 2-nanometer process. The DX-M2 aims to achieve up to 80 TOPS (80 trillion operations per second).
Unlike other domestic system semiconductor companies that have traditionally relied on the domestic market or revenues from a few major conglomerates, DeepX generates over 67% of its total sales overseas. Just eight months into mass production, the company has secured a total of 48 POs across eight countries, achieving qualitative growth. DeepX has built a repeatable commercial sales structure based on a global customer base, rather than relying on government demonstration projects, thereby earning a reputation for technological reliability.
Building on these achievements, DeepX will participate in COMPUTEX 2026, Asia’s largest information technology (IT) exhibition, which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan from June 2 to 5. At the event, DeepX will unveil its global mass production partnership ecosystem on a large scale. The company will showcase Physical AI application cases with major global partners and make key announcements related to mass production for new customers.
At this exhibition, DeepX will operate its own booth and present a wide range of Physical AI solutions applicable to actual industrial systems such as robotics, smart factories, and intelligent video security. Notably, DeepX’s first-generation mass-produced AI semiconductor and module product lines will be integrated into the official booth equipment of more than 30 global hardware manufacturers and system integration (SI) partners—including Advantech, ASRock, MSI, Aaeon, and QNAP, among others from Taiwan—demonstrating its scalability throughout the exhibition floor.
DeepX has consistently built trust within Taiwan’s hardware ecosystem, having won the Innovation Award at COMPUTEX 2023 while its achievements were highlighted by leading Taiwanese media in 2024, even when its products were still in their early stages.
