Samsung SDS Holds AX Summit...Unveils Strategies for Transitioning to AI-Native Company

On May 29, Samsung SDS announced that it had held the ‘AX Summit,’ an event where the company unveiled its roadmap for transitioning into an artificial intelligence (AI) native company and its AI transformation (AX) technology roadmap.
The AX Summit, held on this day at Magellan Hall in the Samsung SDS Jamsil Campus in Songpa-gu, Seoul, was attended by customers using Samsung SDS’s AI agent platform ‘FabricX,’ its work automation solution ‘Brity Automation,’ and its data analytics platform ‘Brightics AI,’ as well as representatives from companies and organizations considering adoption.

Kim Jongpil, Head of the AX Center and Vice President of Samsung SDS, delivered the opening remarks, introducing the role of the AX Center and presenting examples of work powered by AI agents. Kim Suyeon, AI Leader at EY Hanyoung, highlighted key points for AI expansion and value creation based on AX trends and global corporate case studies.
During the keynote session, Shin Gyeyoung, Head of AI Business Division and Vice President at Samsung SDS, outlined strategies for companies to pursue AX under the theme of ‘Strategies for Transitioning to an AI-Native Company.’ Lee Taehee, Head of AI Development Division and Vice President at Samsung SDS, presented the ‘Technology Roadmap for Corporate AX Innovation,’ and Lee Dongjae, Director of OpenAI Korea, introduced the latest features and use cases of ChatGPT Enterprise.
On-site, an ‘AX Strategy Clinic’ was operated to provide customized consulting and solutions for each company. Here, experts analyzed the current status of each company and proposed step-by-step strategies for solution adoption. In the hands-on session, participants were given the opportunity to experience upcoming new features and the latest version of FabricX in advance.
