On May 29, Korea Airports Corporation announced that it had established a new service area on the first floor of Gimpo Airport's domestic passenger terminal, aiming to enhance convenience for airport users.
This project applied a "master concession" model, in which a specialized operator integrates and manages multiple brands, in order to improve the efficiency of an unused area (954.3 square meters) and to reflect the latest trends among airport users.
Together with the specialized operator, the corporation conducted a thorough analysis of passenger movement routes, age groups, and short stays. Based on this, the space was designed to focus on light F&B options such as coffee, beverages, and desserts, allowing greeters and families to conveniently enjoy their time at the airport.
The newly established commercial facility features popular character brand "Kakao Friends," "Yoajeong (Yogurt Ice Cream Specialist) X Airbot," and famous dessert spot "Old Ferry Donut," offering airport users a convenient and diverse range of relaxation and convenience services.
