This agreement was pursued to reduce the management burden on small business owners who are suffering from complex economic crises such as high interest rates, high exchange rates, and high inflation, and to establish a professional human resources and labor support system. The signing ceremony was attended by Song Chiyoung, President of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, and Lee Wanyoung, President of the Korea Certified Labor Attorneys Association.
The two organizations agreed to strengthen cooperation in the following areas: support for human resources and labor-related services; support for industrial safety, health, and serious accident prevention; labor management diagnosis; representation in labor cases and HR and labor consulting; support for education and lectures; and the formation of a pool of certified labor attorney experts by region.
In particular, by utilizing a nationwide cooperation network, they plan to improve accessibility for small business owners in local areas and establish a field-oriented support system that enables stable responses to labor and employment issues.
In addition, they agreed to expand policy cooperation to protect the rights and interests of small business owners and improve related systems, moving beyond simple advisory services. The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business will support on-site activities by certified labor attorneys and cooperate in developing legislative and policy initiatives to protect small business owners.
Lee Wanyoung, President of the Korea Certified Labor Attorneys Association, said, "Small business owners, who are responsible for employment in our society, are patriots. We will provide close support from a preventive perspective so that they can effectively respond to labor disputes."
