NCT's Doyoung Donates 100 Million Won for Suicide Prevention
"Supporting Military Personnel and Bereaved Children"
NCT member Doyoung has donated 100 million won to the Korea Suicide Prevention Center (Korea Life Respect Hope Foundation).
On May 29, the foundation announced that Doyoung delivered the donation with the request that it be used to support South Korean military personnel at risk of suicide, as well as children and adolescents who have lost family members to suicide.
Doyoung is currently serving as an ambassador for the foundation’s “Cheonmyeong Guardian Project,” which aims to reduce the number of suicide deaths by promoting a culture of respect for life through collaboration between the government and the private sector.
Doyoung stated, “There are days when life feels overwhelming and difficult, but I believe tomorrow will be warmer and happier than today. I hope this donation will encourage many people to find the courage to move forward.”
