President Lee Jae-myung cast his ballot in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, on May 29, the first day of early voting for the June 3 local elections.
On this day, President Lee participated in early voting for the 9th simultaneous local elections at a community center in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, together with First Lady Kim Hye-kyung. President Lee wore a gray tie, which appears to have been chosen as a neutral color to maintain election fairness and avoid any association with a particular political party.

In Gyeyang-eul, Incheon, a by-election for the National Assembly seat is being held simultaneously, as the seat became vacant due to President Lee’s presidential bid.
