Seo-gu will coordinate with 10 senior employment agencies to schedule screenings and will conduct the Cognitive Impairment Screening Test (CIST), assessing memory, attention, language skills, and comprehension and judgment abilities.

If dementia is suspected based on the screening results, additional diagnostic tests such as neuropsychological assessments will be conducted at the Dementia Safety Center. If necessary, further differential diagnosis will be coordinated with partner hospitals to ensure accurate diagnosis and systematic management.

Yoon Jongseong, Director of the Seo-gu Dementia Safety Center, stated, "The earlier dementia is detected, the more effective treatment and management become, helping to slow the progression to severe stages. We will actively support senior employment participants so that they can proactively monitor their health through this screening."
