Data4Life is a nonprofit digital healthcare organization funded by Germany's Hasso Plattner Foundation. It builds healthcare data infrastructure, generates real-world evidence (RWE), and operates interoperable clinical data platforms.
Under the agreement, Remedy will register the medical data of suspected and confirmed tuberculosis patients—collected through point-of-care (PoC) diagnostics in high-burden, low-income countries—on Data4Life’s medical data platform, 'D4L Collect.'
The registration system is designed to ensure that patients can participate in every stage of their treatment process, with full privacy guaranteed. Patients can receive feedback on their data and use channels to monitor their own condition during treatment.
Remedy will provide the medical data it collects to Data4Life free of charge. This data will be used exclusively for research purposes to advance public health studies and to develop open, standards-based healthcare data infrastructure for the public good.
Additionally, through its own medical data platform, 'Renaissance,' Remedy will secure the rights to joint ownership of the medical data and clinical research results generated and collected through the partnership, as well as the right to utilize the jointly owned data for its own research, product development, and commercial initiatives.
Meanwhile, Remedy has offered a total of 1.2 million shares in this public offering. The desired price band for the offering is between 17,800 won and 20,700 won. This results in a total expected offering amount of between 21.4 billion and 24.8 billion won. The institutional investor demand forecast will be conducted from June 17 to 23, and the general subscription will take place on July 1 and 2. KB Securities is the lead underwriter.
