Korea Investment Management announced on the 29th that the net asset value (NAV) of the 'Korea Investment MySuper Automatic Fund' series has surpassed 500 billion won.
According to FnGuide, a fund evaluation agency, the combined NAV of the Korea Investment MySuper Automatic Fund series stood at 502.7 billion won as of the previous day's closing price.
In particular, the Korea Investment MySuper Automatic Growth Fund (Mixed-FoF) (O Class) recorded a three-year return of 126.63%, the highest among public overseas mixed-asset allocation funds (with more than 10 billion won in assets) established in Korea. Its two-year return also ranked among the top performers in its category.
Strong fund performance has also led to capital inflows. Since the beginning of this year, the combined assets under management for the Korea Investment MySuper Automatic Fund series have increased by 85.4 billion won. Steady capital inflows have been observed, especially through default option and retirement pension accounts. The O Class, dedicated to default option accounts, saw inflows of 48 billion won, marking the largest increase among all classes.
The Korea Investment MySuper Automatic Fund series is a public asset allocation fund benchmarked after Australia's 'MySuper' pension system. The fund aims for real returns exceeding the Consumer Price Index (CPI) by diversifying investments into global equities, bonds, and assets with a high correlation to inflation. Depending on investor preferences, both stable and growth-oriented products are available.
