Friday, May 29, is expected to bring mostly clear skies and early summer weather nationwide.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the morning low temperatures in major cities are forecast as follows: Seoul 17°C, Incheon 16°C, Chuncheon 16°C, Gangneung 16°C, Daejeon 15°C, Daegu 17°C, Gwangju 16°C, Busan 19°C, and Jeju 18°C. The afternoon highs are expected to reach 28°C in Seoul, 27°C in Incheon, 28°C in Chuncheon, 28°C in Gangneung, 27°C in Daejeon, 28°C in Daegu, 27°C in Gwangju, 25°C in Busan, and 25°C in Jeju.

View original imageWhile most regions will remain generally clear, the east coast may experience periods of heavy cloud cover until the morning. Until the morning of this day, areas including western Incheon and Gyeonggi, Chungcheongnam-do, central and southern Chungcheongbuk-do, the west coast of Jeolla, and inland Jeolla may see dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters. Other inland areas may also experience fog with visibility less than 1 kilometer.
In particular, fog may be even denser on bridges along the west coast and on roads adjacent to rivers, lakes, or valleys in inland regions. Special attention to traffic safety is required to prevent accidents.
