Venobiotech Selected for '2026 Global Corporate Collaboration Program'... Accelerates Pan-KRAS Drug Commercialization
Venobiotech, a new drug development specialist and an affiliate of KOSDAQ-listed Benoty&Ar, has been selected for a collaborative program jointly promoted by the government and a global corporation, accelerating its global commercialization of AI-based anti-cancer drugs.
On May 28, Venobiotech announced that it was finally selected as a participating company in the 'DAONDA' program, a collaboration with Dassault Systèmes under the '2026 Global Corporate Collaboration Program' supervised by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Startup Promotion Agency.
The DAONDA program is a public-private cooperative R&D initiative in which the government and global corporations work together to support domestic promising startups in research and development and overseas market expansion. Venobiotech plans to use this program as a springboard to actively pursue the global commercialization of its independently developed physics law-based AI platform, 'PHY-AI', which led to the discovery of the Pan-KRAS inhibitor 'BBRP11031'.
Currently under development, BBRP11031 is an innovative new drug candidate that targets all KRAS mutations, which play a critical role in cancer cell growth. The company explained that the high binding energy calculated by its physics law-based AI and the results of precise molecular simulations received positive evaluations during the selection process, further enhancing the competitiveness of its pipeline.
In particular, BBRP11031 is drawing attention as a next-generation anti-cancer therapy because it is a Pan-KRAS series drug candidate aimed at all KRAS mutations. The company aims to strengthen its overseas market penetration by combining its AI-based drug design capabilities with a global collaboration framework.
Executive Vice President Inhyeon Lee stated, "This selection once again proves that Venobiotech's AI-based new drug development technology is at a global level," adding, "By actively utilizing the collaborative system with global corporations, we will maximize the value of our core pipeline, including BBRP11031, and grow into a globally competitive biotech company."
Meanwhile, Venobiotech is also smoothly conducting Phase 1 clinical trials for 'BBRP11001', a treatment for macular degeneration. The company is actively working to expand its new pipeline and build global partnerships based on its AI platform technology.
