Airwallex Appoints Yuna Kwon as New Head of SME Korea

Global financial platform Airwallex announced on the 27th that it has appointed Yuna Kwon as Head of SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) at Airwallex Korea.
As Head of SME, Kwon will lead Airwallex's overall business operations in the Korean market, establish strategic partnerships with domestic financial institutions, and strengthen communication with industry stakeholders and major media outlets. She will also help domestic companies expand into overseas markets by providing cross-border financial solutions.
Kwon has over 10 years of leadership experience in e-commerce and management consulting. Most recently, she served as the Country Manager for Korea and Japan at Shopee, where she led business expansion in each region and facilitated global transactions for local sellers. Prior to joining Shopee, she worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), specializing in commercial due diligence and investment strategy.
