Woori Bank to Recruit 95 New Employees and Summer Interns in First Half of the Year
Document Screening Open Until June 8
Regional Talent Recruitment... Group Evaluation Introduced in Second Interview Round
On May 27, Woori Bank announced that it will select approximately 100 talents through its new employee recruitment and summer internship program for the first half of this year.
This recruitment process consists of three categories: regional talents, veterans (special recruitment for office support positions), and summer experiential internship. In particular, the regional talent category will be expanded to five regions, compared to previous years, in an effort to secure outstanding local talent.
Applications are being accepted starting from May 26 through the Woori Bank recruitment website until June 8. The selection process consists of a document screening, the first interview, the second interview, and a final interview, in that order.
Woori Bank plans to operate an “on-site regional interview” system for the regional talent recruitment category, holding the first round of interviews in each applicant’s respective region. In addition, the bank will directly visit six regional hub universities—Chungnam National University, Chungbuk National University, Jeonbuk National University, Pusan National University, Kyungpook National University, and Changwon National University—to hold recruitment briefings.
For the second interview round of the regional talent recruitment, a new two-day, one-night group evaluation has been introduced. The group interview will include an “insight interview,” a team presentation program, job competency and personality interviews, and a written test (WFIT), allowing for a comprehensive assessment of each applicant’s job skills and organizational fit.
The successful summer internship candidates will gain hands-on work experience at branches and headquarters departments for four weeks, from July 20 to August 14. Based on work performance evaluations, Woori Bank plans to give preferential treatment to outstanding interns in the 2026 second half new employee recruitment process.
