NH Nonghyup Bank Signs Business Agreement with Korea South-East Power to Strengthen Global Expansion Competitiveness
Cooperation Through Global Network Utilization and Foreign Exchange Services
NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 27th that it had signed a financial business agreement with Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. at the NH Nonghyup Bank headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, on the 26th, titled "Financial Support to Strengthen Korea South-East Power's Global Expansion Competitiveness."
This agreement was promoted to leverage Nonghyup Bank's global network and foreign exchange financial services to support Korea South-East Power in establishing a stable foundation for launching new overseas projects and to enhance its global competitiveness.
The two institutions agreed to strengthen financial cooperation for overseas business by utilizing global networks, providing foreign exchange services, and managing exchange rate risk. At the same time, they decided to mutually cooperate in creating a "sustainable co-growth ecosystem for the export of K-Power content" by supporting partner companies entering overseas markets alongside Korea South-East Power.
Taeyoung Kang, President of NH Nonghyup Bank, stated, "The strategic importance of the power industry is greater than ever, especially with the growing demand for global AI data centers. We will actively support Korea South-East Power through close cooperation so that the K-Power industry can enhance its competitiveness on the global stage."
