Gangdong District to Host Tailored Recruitment and Startup Briefing Sessions for Middle-Aged and Older Adults
On-site Interviews with CESCO and Hyundai Rental Care
On May 27, Gangdong District in Seoul announced that it will hold company-linked briefing sessions to support middle-aged and older adults in reemployment and entrepreneurship.
From June to July, the district will host recruitment and entrepreneurship briefing sessions at the Gangdong 50 Plus Center in collaboration with three companies: Korea Seven, CESCO, and Hyundai Rental Care. These sessions will introduce each company’s job roles and outline the processes for employment and entrepreneurship, with the goal of directly linking participants to actual hiring and business startup opportunities.
On June 16, a "7-Eleven Startup Briefing Session" will be held to provide information on convenience store operation systems, commercial district analysis, and profit structures. Gangdong District is offering briefing sessions for all three major convenience store brands—CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven—so participants can compare and evaluate their options.
The "CESCO Service Assistant Recruitment Briefing Session" on June 19 and the "Hyundai Rental Care Care Manager Recruitment Briefing Session" on July 15 will both feature job introductions and on-site interviews. Anyone can apply regardless of previous experience, offering reemployment opportunities to participants.
