On the previous day, Hana Financial Group held a "Donation Ceremony for Support Project of Rehabilitation and Learning Assistance Devices for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities" at its Myeongdong office in Seoul, marking the official launch of this integrated support initiative. Through this program, Hana Financial Group will provide rehabilitation and learning assistance devices to a total of 300 low-income children and adolescents with disabilities who are unable to replace their assistive devices in a timely manner due to financial constraints. The company also plans to support 15 specialized rehabilitation centers for children with disabilities by providing equipment such as walking trainers.
In addition, employment training programs linked to job placement will be offered to a total of 85 individuals, including people with developmental or hearing disabilities and those with borderline intellectual functioning who have the desire to work. The scale of this training has been expanded by 30% compared to last year, and in addition to tailored job skills education, the program will include social skills training such as resume writing and mock interviews to actively support participants in securing actual employment.
Furthermore, the company will select 20 outdated residential facilities for people with disabilities nationwide to carry out projects aimed at improving living conditions and providing vehicle support. In collaboration with the Autism Society of Korea, Hana Financial Group will also support job creation initiatives to help people with autism achieve independence. Lastly, the company will offer customized financial services—including inheritance and asset management—to people with autism and their families who have difficulties managing their finances.
