Over 300,000 Visitors Since Renovation
Enhanced Immersive Experiences and Close-Up Predator Encounters
Unique Safari Adventures Also Upgraded
Everland, the resort division of Samsung C&T Corporation, has recently seen more than 300,000 visitors in just over 50 days at its newly renovated "Safari World," reflecting its soaring popularity.
Everland reopened Safari World on April 1 after a comprehensive facility upgrade, and on May 26 it was analyzed that enhancements in animal welfare and immersive guest experiences—such as observing wild animals up close in a more spacious and wild natural setting—have received a positive response.
This positive reaction is also reflected in customer surveys: in a recent poll, Safari World achieved a satisfaction score of 96, the highest among all Everland facilities.
Customer reviews from Safari World continue to spread through social media and online communities, resulting in approximately a 30% increase in online buzz compared to the same period last year. The company also reported that cumulative views of Safari World content on Everland's social media channels have surpassed 15 million.

In particular, themed environments inspired by real habitats—such as "Forest of Predators" for tigers, "Savanna Grasslands" for lions, and "Northern Forest" for brown bears—have been created, and guests are responding well to seeing the animals gradually adapt to these naturalistic settings over time.
Lions are seen moving in groups and displaying activity in their wide, open grassland environment, while tigers demonstrate natural predatory behaviors such as hiding, moving, and exploring in a setting that blends forest and waterfalls.
Brown bears also show more dynamic movement in spaces designed to evoke the forest, offering guests an immersive sense of being in the wild.
The Safari World exploration vehicles have also been upgraded to 40-seat electric (EV) buses, allowing guests to focus on encounters with the animals in a more comfortable environment with reduced vibration and noise. The EV buses, themed after lions, tigers, and Asiatic black bears, have become popular new photo spots for visitors.
On the EV buses, guests can enjoy the captain's entertaining commentary and narration by professional voice actors set to suspenseful music, combining entertainment and educational value—another key reason for Safari World's popularity.
In the vehicle boarding area, Samsung Electronics' glasses-free 3D display "Spatial Signage" has been installed, playing three-dimensional videos of wild animals that appear to move realistically, heightening the sense of adventure even while waiting.
The "River Trail Adventure," a special way to explore the Everland safari, has also been further upgraded recently.
River Trail Adventure is a program where visitors walk along waterways between Everland's two popular safari zones—Safari World and Lost Valley—getting an up-close, vivid experience of nine types of wild animals, including lions, hyenas, giraffes, and elephants.
Everland has expanded the floating observation deck above the waterways so guests can observe giraffes and elephants even more closely, and has added a dedicated photo booth for the River Trail, allowing visitors to cherish memories of their adventure for years to come.
An interactive board has also been set up, where guests can freely write messages encouraging the protection of endangered animals or anything they'd like to share with the animals, providing an opportunity to reflect on the importance of nature and life.
