View original imageThe Ministry of Justice announced on May 26 that it has appointed Gang Namsu, former head prosecutor of the Major Economic Crimes Investigation Division at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, as Inspector General, a position that had been vacant.
Inspector General Gang graduated from the Department of Law at Yonsei University and passed the 41st National Bar Examination in 1999. He began his career as a prosecutor at the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office in 2008. Since then, he has served as a senior prosecutor at the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, Suwon District Prosecutors' Office, and Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office, gaining approximately 17 years of experience handling a wide range of cases. Starting in March this year, he was dispatched to the Second Special Investigation Team led by Kwon Changyoung, where he participated in investigations related to insurrection.
