Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation to Provide Up to 20 Million Won to 10 Outstanding Job-Creating Companies
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will provide up to 20 million won per company to improve employment environments at 10 outstanding job-creating companies and youth-friendly workplaces in the province.
The areas of support include welfare facilities such as break rooms, staff cafeterias, restrooms, and improvements to office and workspaces.
Earlier, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation selected 10 companies, including Wooree EMI Co., Ltd., Nexus B Co., Ltd., and ITB AI Co., Ltd., through document review, both quantitative and qualitative evaluations, and deliberation by a review committee.
These companies will receive support covering up to 90% of facility renovation costs, up to a maximum of 20 million won.

View original imageThe selected companies will proceed with renovations of break facilities and improvements to the working environment after obtaining approval for construction plans and completing the subsidy disbursement process.
Yoon Deok-ryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "The working environment is a critical factor directly related to attracting talent, long-term employee retention, and corporate competitiveness. We will continue to expand support for tangible improvements in working conditions on-site, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and creating high-quality job environments."
Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation continue to discover and certify companies with outstanding job environments. Currently, there are a total of 139 companies with valid certifications as outstanding job-creating companies or youth-friendly workplaces.

In the second half of the year, they also plan to recruit new companies for certification. Notably, starting this year, the eligibility criteria for "youth-friendly workplaces" will be expanded from previously certified outstanding job companies to include all small and medium-sized enterprises in the province, allowing broader participation.
