U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the 24th (local time) that he had instructed the U.S. negotiators engaged in ceasefire talks with Iran "not to rush into an agreement."
On Truth Social, President Trump stated, "The negotiations (with Iran) are proceeding in an orderly and constructive manner," and made these remarks.
President Trump emphasized, "Time is on our side, so I have instructed not to rush the deal," adding, "Until an agreement is reached, verified, and signed, the blockade measures (in the Strait of Hormuz) will be maintained comprehensively and effectively."
