Han Donghoon: "Hope People Power Party Candidates Joining Conservative Reconstruction Succeed"...Reaching Out to Conservatives
Han: "No Future in the 'Traitor' Narrative"
Emphasizes Conservative Unity and Broadening the Base
Han Donghun, an independent candidate running in the Busan Buk-gu Gap by-election scheduled for June 3, delivered a message calling for the unification of the conservative bloc, stating, "I hope that the People Power Party candidates who are participating in the rebuilding of the conservative movement will perform well."
As the elections in the Busan region have become extremely close, there is a growing emphasis on the need for a broader conservative alliance. In this context, Han is reinforcing messages of expanding the conservative base and promoting unity.
Speaking with reporters at Unsusa Temple in Sasang District, Busan, on the 24th, Han said, "There are many People Power Party candidates who hope for a conservative renewal based on the constitution, facts, and common sense. I want them to stay strong and perform well."

In fact, within the local political community, there have been calls—particularly from some figures in the People Power Party—for Han to send a message to rally the broader conservative support base.
Han also showed his determination to directly confront the recent "traitor frame" that has been directed at him. He stated, "I understand the feelings of those who call me a 'traitor.' However, if we remain stuck in that perspective, conservatives will inevitably lose both the 2028 general election and the 2030 presidential election."
He added, "President Lee Jaemyung might even end up serving a second term. I want to urge everyone to overcome this together and keep fighting."
