KB Kookmin Bank announced that it signed a 'Financial Business Agreement for Co-Growth with Corporate Customers and Creation of a Safety Management Ecosystem' with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance on the 21st at the KB Kookmin Bank New Building in Yeouido, Seoul.

View original imageThis agreement was established as fire and fatal accidents have continued to occur at industrial sites recently, making corporate safety management a national issue. The two companies aim to protect their corporate customers and build a social safety net through this partnership.
The signing ceremony was attended by Hyunwook Kim, Vice President of Corporate Customer Group at KB Kookmin Bank, Jongwoo Kwon, Executive Vice President of General Insurance Division at Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, as well as other representatives from both companies.
Starting next month, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance will provide 'Safety Improvement Reports,' generated through AI-based customized assessments, free of charge to KB Kookmin Bank's corporate customers via the bank's platform.
In the third quarter, KB Kookmin Bank plans to offer a variety of financial and non-financial services to corporate customers of both companies who utilize the Safety Improvement Reports, including loan interest rate discounts and the development of specialized products.
A representative from Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance stated, "Based on our advanced risk analysis capabilities, we will actively support more companies to create an environment where they can focus on their core business with peace of mind."
